23,000 subscribers for new Jewellery Focus daily newsletter

The new Daily Briefing e-newsletter introduced by Jewellery Focus two weeks ago now has over 23,000 subscribers.

Jewellery Focus introduced its new daily email news offering in the wake of the hugely successful Weekly Roundup, and a surge of sharing and recommendations has produced a rapid uplift in subscriptions to the mailing list.

The Daily Briefing is designed to fit snugly in the preview pane of normal email clients, and is broken up into five visually appealing sections: Today’s Top Stories, This Week, Editor’s Blogs, Collection of the Week, and Voice on the Highstreet – the popular column from the print edition.

The Weekly Roundup offers the editor Michael Northcott’s weekly blog as well as a curated selection of the five biggest news stories of the week.

Michael said: “We are delighted that take-up of our smart new digital products has been so rapid. Having always had the largest circulation of any jewellery trade magazine in the UK since we launched almost nine years ago, it is a thrill to maintain that tradition by also having the largest subscriber base in the industry for our quality e-newsletter offering.

“Jewellery Focus was the first jewellery trade magazine to publish 12 issues a year, the first to be distributed to the trade for free, and now it is the first to introduce an email news service with truly comprehensive reach in this amazing industry.”

The introduction of the Daily Briefing is the latest iteration of a rolling program of investment in the Jewellery Focus brand by parent publisher Mulberry Publications, which also included the launch of a new website earlier this year.
