Personalised jewellery brand Chamilia has announced a new partnership with the Royal British Legion, which will see 10 per cent of its net sales of the blooming poppy bead being donated to the charity.

 

The vibrant red enamel and sterling silver poppy bead, with a recommended retail price of £36, can be worn on its own or together with other beads on a bracelet, necklace or earrings.

 

Melissa Wilson, marketing director at Chamilia, commented: "We're very proud to announce this new partnership. The Royal British Legion is celebrating its 90th anniversary this year and the work they do today is just as valuable as it was 90 years ago. It means a lot to Chamilia to be able to contribute towards the Legion's fundraising goals and show our support for our brave armed forces.

 

"This bead allows those who purchase it to show their continued commitment and support to the charity in an individual and stylish way," she added.

 

Meanwhile Russell Thompson OBE, director of fundraising at the Royal British Legion, said: "The contributions we receive will go a long way towards raising funds for those currently serving in the Armed Forces, as well as ex-service-personnel.

 

"We believe this partnership is a great way of further raising the charity's profile and look forward to developing our relationship in the future."
