F Hinds and IJL announce High Street by Design 2015 winners

Jewellers F Hinds and International Jewellery London (IJL) has announced the five winners of its High Street by Design (HSBD) 2015 competition.

Winners of the competition’s five categories:

Current Jewellery Designer – Silvia Tjahyadi

Student Jeweller Designer – Sally Costen

Jewellery Lover

Up to 12-years category – Adeen Naseer

12-18 years category – Rebecca Clarvis

Over 18-years category – Marina Shavyrina-Shkolyar[/box]

Ten further entries from across all five categories were highly commended and have received congratulation certificates and prizes.

Andrew Hinds, director at F Hinds, Said: “For the fifth year of HSBD we were delighted to receive the largest number of entries so far. The judging panel members were very impressed by many of the designs, and as a result we have awarded more Highly Commended prizes than previously”.

“Given that we judged all the entries anonymously, it is also remarkable that Marina Shavyrina-Shkolyar has won the Over 18 Year category for a second time, and is more than enough evidence of her exceptional talent. We also predict that Sally Costen is a name to watch out for.”

All five of the winning jewellery pieces will be individually showcased for the first time during IJL – set to take place between September 6 and 8 – in the English Team Room with a champagne tea reception for the winners on September 7.

After IJL, all five pieces will be available for sale at F Hinds’ 116 shops and also via its online store.
