Luminox partners with Bear Grylls

Luminox has announced a new timepiece collaboration alongside famed adventurer Bear Grylls. Swiss-made watch brand Luminox said it will be introducing the first timepieces in a series of collaborations for the “long-term partnership”. The brand said: “The partnership underscores what the Navy SEALs, the Icelandic Association for Search and Rescue and many other professionals have known for many years - the brand’s watches can survive just about anything.” Each piece is water resistant for up to 300 meters and cased in either light, durable, and tough carbonox or stainless steel. All watches also feature Bear Grylls’ logo and motto, “Never Give Up”, on both the dial and the case back. Certain pieces also incorporate chronograph functions, compasses, paracord straps, morse code decoders, rulers and walking speed scales, as well as Luminox Light 2 Technology that allows the watch to be visible in any lighting conditions. The Bear Grylls collection will consist of watches across all of Luminox’s signature series: Sea, Air and Land. The first six models will be introduced this month, while a further two models are scheduled for August 2020.
