Elliot Brown watches announces new female brand ambassadors

Following on from this summer’s launch of Elliot Brown’s Kimmeridge ladies watch collection the brand has announced three new ambassadors.

The celebrity representatives for the watch range have been named as Sarah Outen MBE, adventurer by land and sea; Lizzie Carr, environmentalist and adventurer and firefighter Bex Sims, who has been selected to compete in the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race 17/18.

Outen is known for being the first woman and youngest person to row solo across the Indian Ocean. Carr has completed a 400 mile solo paddle boarding expedition along the length of England’s waterways and firefighter Bex Sims will be on board a Clipper yacht during Leg 6, one of the toughest legs of the Clipper Race 17/18 to represent the brand.

The ladies Kimmeridge collection was developed in 18 months and has proven to be a success for the brand with sales positioning it closely behind its best selling Canford range.

There are nine styles in the ladies range with soft leather, solid link and Milanese interchangeable straps to choose from. The dials echo the design of the men’s Canford collection.

Ian Elliot, co-founder, said: “There’s lots of brands out there that pretend to be macho, pretend to be tough and pay people to wear their watches but actually they are not really fit for purpose. The relationships forged with our brand ambassadors are founded on respect and synergy with our ethos and not on the basis of paid sponsorship.

“Our watches have rowed oceans, they have climbed mountains, they have been to both poles. Like our men’s watches the Kimmeridge collection is tough and whatever challenges our ambassadors undertake they can rest assured that the watch on their wrist will be reliable and can stand up to any task.”
