Jewellery website Titan Jewellery has seen a rise in popularity following a retweet from Theo Paphitis, one of the dragons from the BBC show Dragons Den.

Jason Beer, owner of Titan Jewellery, tweeted Paphitis during ‘Small Business Sunday’, an initiative he set up to promote small business, which culminates in those chosen being invited to an awards event.

Run every Sunday between 5pm and 7.30pm, any business that tweets Paphitis with #SBS could be one of six business retweeted the following Monday and given a coveted spot on the Small Business Sunday website, dedicated to winners.

Since winning Titan Jewellery has gained 600 new followers and extra orders to its website which stocks titanium, tungsten, zirconia ceramic and cobalt rings, all available in a large range of sizes up to Z plus 10 sizes.

Beer said: “It is great to have support from Theo as it helps to raise our profile and he has recognised our hard work and helped spread the word about what we do to his following. The event we attended with him, allowed us to obtain plenty more business advice and we had the photo opportunity with him.”
