The National Association of Goldsmiths (NAG) has announced that its 120th annual general meeting will be held this year at the Saatchi Gallery on 18th June 2014.

The AGM will coincide with the Jewellery & Watch London trade show. In its announcement, the body said that whilst the meeting is “primarily for members…anyone in the industry is most welcome to attend.”

Chief executive Michael Rawlinson said: “The AGM is an important meeting in the annual calendar of the association as it allows members their opportunity to hold the officers and executive to account, and more importantly question the future strategy and direction of the organisation.

“Holding the event alongside the Jewellery and Watch show will allow members to maximise the value of their time by being able to do two events on the same day.”

Julie Driscoll, portfolio director for Jewellery & Watch London, added: “We are delighted that the National Association of Goldsmiths has decided to hold its AGM at the forthcoming edition of Jewellery & Watch London. Many of our show visitors are also members of the NAG so it makes perfect sense to hold the two events concurrently.

“The Saatchi Gallery will provide the perfect backdrop for both of these important events in the calendar and we are very much looking forward to it.”
