The National Association of Goldsmiths (NAG) and the British Jewellers Association (BJA) have announced they will host two members’ meetings to discuss the planned unification of the two organisations. The trade bodies have written to their members inviting them to attend a members day where both will be making presentations to explain the unification and to make clear their “collective vision” for the future.

In a statement they said that the meetings will provide “ample opportunity” for members to share their own views and to pose any questions they may have in relation to the unification.

The events will take place as follows:

Wednesday, May 20 – NAG, 78a Luke Street, London EC2A 4XG – 10am – 12:30pm

Wednesday, May 27  – BJA, Federation House, 10 Vyse Street, Birmingham B18 6LT 1:30pm–4pm
