Gem-A reveals new board following election results

The Gemmological Association of Great Britain (Gem-A) has unveiled its new board members following a vote held at its annual general meeting (AGM) on Wednesday, August 26.

The AGM, which had previously been postponed earlier this year, saw the appointment of seven new board members from the UK along with two well-respected members from the US.

The new board members are:

  • Kathryn Bonanno
  • Justine Carmody
  • Paul Greer
  • Kerry Gregory
  • Alan Hart
  • Alan Hodgkinson
  • Jack Ogden
  • Richard Slater
  • Christopher Smith

The new members of the council will join existing board members Nigel Israel, Miranda Wells and Mary Burland and will be expected to work together to form a plan for the future of the association, following a series of controversies over the past couple of months.
