The National Association of Jewellers (NAJ) has decided to further delay its all-encompassing membership event due to the ongoing Covid pandemic.
The event has already been postponed from September 2020 until June 2021, with the summit now taking place 11-13 September later this year.
The summit includes the Retail Jewellers’ Congress (hosted by the JET Business Network), the long-standing three-day Valuers’ Conference (hosted by the Institute of Registered Valuers), SecurityWise, Better Business and Created in the UK seminars.
As the NAJ Awards will remain at the Benevolent Society Ball in December, the summit’s Members Gala Dinner will include special accolades and provide the opportunity for networking between NAJ members and supporters.
Gary Wroe, the NAJ’s chair, said: “With the pandemic continuing it’s sensible to further delay the Summit until the Autumn when, following ongoing government updates, we are more likely to return to a form of normality.”
