A new British fine jewellery company, called Natalie Perry, launched this week with a debut collection, Floral Fragments.
The collection is inspired by the disintegrating murals that adorn the walls of ancient Indian temples and is crafted in delicate 18-carat Fairtrade gold filigree, set with white diamonds and coloured gemstones.
The range which comprises necklaces, pendants, earrings and ear jackets is designed to be interchangeable and collectable.
Founder Natalie Ball said: “I’ve always found beauty in the unconventional and the dilapidated forts and temples of Rajasthan were a big inspiration to me while I was working in India.
“These influences formed the basis of my previous work, which have carried through into my first fine jewellery collection, Floral Fragments.”
She added: “It was also important for me to start as I mean to go on, so I chose to make the collection in the UK from Fairtrade Gold – to ensure traceability – after hearing first-hand the positive impact that Fairtrade has had on miners and their communities.”
The collection is available for wholesale and online on the brand’s website, and prices for the are between RRP £690 – £2,950.
