Family-run jewellers Lindow’s in Ulverston has been put up for sale by owners Mr and Mrs Lindow after 40 years.

Having set up the business in 1980, the Lindow’s have decided that now is the right time to retire.

Lindow’s moved to Market Street in 1985 and further expanded in 1994 to incorporate a separate gift showroom with a dedicated repair area and private viewing room.

The shop was completely refurbished in 2006 to reveal the elegant surroundings seen today and the lighting has recently been upgraded to all low energy, supplied by Parify.

Lindow’s currently stocks some of the biggest jewellery and watch brands, including Ti Sento, Shaun Leane, Rotary, Citizen, Charles Green, Domino, Gecko and Ntinga.

Ulverston is a market town in the centre of the Furness Peninsula with a number of independent shops.
