Venyx has announced the launch of its latest collection inspired by the surrealist artist Man Ray.

The collection will be made up of nine limited-edition pieces based on three of Man Ray’s masterpieces, The Lovers (1936), Glass Tears (1932) and The Venus Restored (1936).

The gigantic, flame-red lips dominating The Lovers’ canvas are faithfully reproduced in enamel on a pendant, a brooch and atop a double ring, sometimes rimmed by diamonds.

The Glass Tears inspired pieces include a mother of pearl, diamonds, enamel and
black rhodium sitting under a carved rock crystal which serves as the centre-piece of a torque encircled by pavédiamonds, a ring and a pendant.

The Venus Restored pieces has a sculptured female nude torso dangling from chains in yellow, rose or white gold, the pendant made of in white cocholong crisscrossed in golden threads and streams of paved diamonds.

Eugenie Niarchos, founder and creative director, selected these three pieces by Man Ray as they explore the facets of femininity and two are connected to Lee Miller.
