Hamilton and Inches posts record sales

Scottish jeweller Hamilton and Inches has announced record sales of ยฃ11.3m, an increase of 16%, for the year ended 25 March 2023.
It attributed this success to its continued focus on โelegant design and timeless craftsmanshipโ.
The company also posted a pre-tax profit of ยฃ1.3m, slightly lower than the ยฃ1.4m it posted the previous year.
Alongside this, the companyโs gross margin remained stable at 37% while its overheads increased to ยฃ3.5m, up from ยฃ2.8m.
CEO Victoria Houghton said: โIn particular, we are delighted to see outstanding growth across the fine jewellery, silverware, and watch categories along with strong watch service and repair sales driven by our status as a Rolex Accredited Service Centre.โ
