Dior has announced the launch of its new Galons Dior creations as part of the Couture Dior collection.
The collection aims to celebrate the “heritage in motion of the House” and the company has revisited the universe of passementerie for the pieces.
The new creations are a tribute to the strip of fabric composed of recurring symbols that finishes garments with a refined touch.
There are four variations in this collection; the Milieu du siècle galon, the floral galon, the zigzag galon and the pearly galon.
These four variations are all deployed on a necklace, a bracelet, a ring and earrings. The designs are available in rose and yellow gold, sometimes punctuated with diamonds.
The launch of this comes after Dior unveiled the latest additions to its Rose Des Vents collection creating the Étoile des Vents.
This collection was the reinterpretation of the compass rose is “freed from its ornamental stones and is revealed through pared-down creations”.
