Gucci has launched a new high jewellery collection based on three themes: Labirinti Gucci, Horsebit and Marina Chain.
The collection includes necklaces, rings, earrings and bracelets that reinterpret the brand’s most recognisable motifs, through gemstone-set designs influenced by nature, equestrian heritage and nautical style.
The collection includes jewellery based on floral motifs, including red poppy and blue lily, which the brand said was inspired by the Gucci Flora print. The pieces are set with a range of gemstones including rubellite tourmalines, sapphires, rubies and diamonds and crafted using titanium and white gold.
Inspired by nautical rope designs of Gucci Nodo, the collection includes a series of chain necklaces and jewellery sets including emeralds, aquamarines as well as the traditional tourmalines, sapphires and diamonds, drawing on ocean inspired colour palettes combining shades of blue and green to reflect the sea.
The symbolic ‘G’ motif is reinterpreted in a geometric jewellery collection including earrings and necklaces. Crafted in white gold and set with diamonds and green tourmalines, the pieces feature gemstones cut to highlight the motif’s shape.
The Horsebit and Marina Chain run as an underlying theme, according to the brand, with the horsebit appearing in three sets of necklaces, earrings, rings and bracelets. The Marina Chain is featured in a necklace, earrings and bracelet inspired by nautical style, including golden beryls and yellow sapphires.
In line with the brand, the launch has a clear focus on high value collections that emphasise craftsmanship, heritage and gemstones. It forms part of Gucci’s ongoing investment in its high jewellery offering, as an extension of the luxury fashion house.
