Fellows auctions Oris timepiece for charity

Fellows announced that it is auctioning an Oris timepiece in order to raise funds for NHS Charities together.

All proceeds will go towards the federation of over 250 charitable organisations that support the NHS, and Fellows will not charge any fees for the auction.

The “very special” Oris Aquis Date bracelet watch is limited to only one piece. Its Aquis Date Green Dial 43.5mm model has been re-designed to create a limited edition of one.

The case back features the brand’s Oris Bear, a “symbol of warmth, joy and hope”, and the words ‘In this Together, Oris Supports the NHS, One of One’ also feature alongside the Oris Bear in the case back design.

The Aquis Date is a high-performance diver’s watch, with a 43.50mm stainless steel case and a uni-directional bezel with a scratch-resistant ceramic insert. It’s water-resistant to 30 bar (300 metres) and powered by a Swiss Made automatic mechanical movement that provides the watch with a date window at 6 o’clock.

The lot also includes a dark brown leather strap with sliding-sledge folding clasp, along with a leather pouch and tri-wing screwdriver to enable a strap change, as well an authentication documents.

The current bid sits at £2,450, though it was estimated to sell for between £800 and £1,000.
