Best Women’s Boutique award for EC One

The awards celebrated London’s independent shops, which Mayor Boris Johnson described as “essential to put the village back into the city.”

This year EC One has also received awards for Best Boutique Jeweller and Most Inspiring Independent. Owner Jos Skeates said: “When so much of the high street comprises homogenised brands, phone shops and coffee chains, it is great to be recognised for sticking our necks out and trying to offer something different. This award adds the finishing touch to what has been a remarkable year. Things like this give all of us a boost in these difficult trading times.”
