Written by the former director of the Royal Collection and surveyor emeritus of the Queen’s works of art, Sir Hugh Roberts, the book explores the stories behind the most significant diamond jewels in Queen Elizabeth II’s collection.

There are 348 colour illustrations across 320 pages, with the history of each item of jewellery documented from evidence.

Some of the pieces included are the Diamond Diadem, Queen Victoria’s coronation necklace and earrings, and the Queen’s wedding bracelet; a present from Prince Philip in honour of their marriage.
