These brands have achieved this accolade by meeting the highest ethical, social and environmental standards established by the RJC’s Member Certification system.

Lisa Krikawa, founder and designer of Krikawa Jewelry Designs, the Arizona-based jewellery retailer, said: “I am thrilled and honoured to be a certified member of the RJC. It is important for our entire industry to step up and recognise the cost of making fine jewellery upon the environment and future generations.

“With everyone working together, we can ensure that both the planet and human beings are treated with care in the process of creating beautiful jewellery.”

David Bonney, CFO at Lux Bond & Green, the Connecticut-based retailer, acknowledged a similar sentiment: “Lux Bond & Green’s core values parallel the RJC mission for exceptional business practices and corporate responsibilities associated with social, ethical and environmental concerns within our industries and communities.”
