Held at The Savoy in London, the awards were attended by such figures as Dame Mary Perkins, Karren Brady and everywoman founders, Karen Gill MBE and Maxine Benson MBE.
Alyssa Smith launched her jewellery brand shortly after graduating in 2009. Since then, she has merged creativity with entrepreneurial flair to create handmade jewellery in silver, gold and gemstones.
The judges were impressed with Alyssa’s tenacity, ambition and her dedication outside of the business, such as her running of enterprise workshops at colleges in her locality.
Now in its fifth year, the awards recognise the achievements of the women charting change and leading the way in the retail industry.
