Joshua James was crowned victorious following a public vote on the BJA’s website in October. The jeweller, which has a boutique retail outlet in Hessle and operates four websites, was one of four finalists shortlisted by the BJA prior to the vote.
The BJA described the business as an “innovative company”, which “has become a leading jewellery e-tailer”.
Managing director of Joshua James Jewellery Shaun Bell (pictured) said of the win: “I’m so pleased; this is another brilliant achievement to end 2012 with.
“The fact that we scooped the award due to a public vote also shows that we are getting it right for our customers. We’ve worked so hard to remain ahead of current trends with a vast and ever increasing range of the latest brands, and though the business has only been going for just over three years, I believe that our passion, determination and a firm focus on achieving our goals will ensure that we continue to head in the right direction.”
