Organised by Retail Week and sponsored by the National Skills Academy for Retail, the Rising Stars Awards recognises emerging talent in the retail sector.

Retailers across the country are encouraged to nominate staff members who have made a significant contribution to their business for one of the 13 awards that will be presented.

Head of the National Skills Academy for Retail Jane Rexworthy said: “We are delighted to be the headline sponsors for 2013. The Rising Stars Awards offers an excellent way to find and celebrate driven, committed and passionate individuals, who are making their contribution to ensuring a bright future for the industry.

“The awards recognise individuals’ achievements through the early stages of their career and across a wide range of roles. Retailers of all sizes in all areas of the sector are encouraged to enter.”

Entries close on Friday, 17 May. Applications will be shortlisted by a team of retail experts ahead of the awards ceremony, which will be held at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London on 12 September.

Application forms are available online at www.retailweekrisingstars.co.uk
