The pop-up event launched by Tea Green Pop-Up Events will boast an eclectic mix of creativity from painters to jewellery makers and textile designers.
Taking place on July 26 in the Glasgow School of Art Student Association, the fair aims to select the best in art, design and contemporary craft while supporting local graduates of Glasgow’s art school.
Tea Green was set up by Joanne MacFadyen, a Scottish jeweller based in Dundee. MacFadyen said: “The eclectic mix, high quality and calibre of our exhibitors make Tea Green events unlike your typical craft market in Scotland.
“Our aim is to create shopping experiences where the public can access a diverse array of talented artists and designers, all of whom are incredibly passionate about what they do, making original works, all crafted to the highest standards.”
Tea Green believes in supporting recent graduates and for the debut event three 2014 Glasgow School of Art graduates have been offered graduate award spaces. These have been awarded to jewellers Ellis Mhairi Cameron and Catriona Clark and textile artist Laura Muir.
