Raiders have stolen almost £150,000 worth of designer watches from a Beaverbrooks in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire

The raid, which took place at 8pm on Sunday December 21, saw the burglars enter the store via the roof, before forcing their way through two locked doors and accessing a locked display cabinet filled with designer watches.

The breakdown of the stolen items includes 48 Tag Heuer watches, 19 Gucci watches, 31 Raymond Weil watches and seven Michael Kors watches.

Ian Carruthers, detective constable of Huddersfield Criminal Investigation Department, said: “We would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this incident and also anybody who is offered one of these watches for sale. We are investigating a number of offences across West Yorkshire and are keen for any information which could help our wider enquiries.”

Anyone with information has been urged to contact Huddersfield police on 101 or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
