Family jewellers F Hinds has announced that it opened three stores in just one day – located in Stockport, Walsall and Bristol.

The stores, which were officially opened on Sunday February 1, involved a 500 mile round trip, three Lord Mayors and 40 feet of red ribbon.

The first to be opened was the Stockport store, a 1,300 foot square foot store located in the Merseyway Shopping Centre. The store is the company’s third in the Manchester area with others located at the Trafford Centre and Bury.

The second was opened in Walsall’s Saddlers Shopping Centre, with Lord Mayor Peter Smith cutting the red ribbon.

The last to be opened was a 1,300 square foot store in the Galleries Shopping Centre, Bristol. The store represents the company’s return to the city after a 50 year absence and is the 115th store in the brands portfolio.

All three stores feature environmentally friendly lit, attractive window displays featuring an extensive selection of jewellery, giftware and watches.

Andrew Hinds, director and diamond buyer of the company, who hosted all three ribbon-cutting ceremonies, said: “We are delighted to be part of the exciting regeneration and modern updating of all three shopping centres.

“Today is very special – three stores in one day is certainly a major historical achievement and will be remembered as special in the company’s history for ever.”
