Watch brand Rado has announced the release of a new limited edition watch – the HyperChrome Match Point.

The release follows Rado’s announcement that it is returning to Queen’s Club for the fourth consecutive year as the official timekeeper of the Aegon Championship – one of the world’s most prestigious tennis tournaments.

As official timekeeper, Rado will be on centre court with corner clocks that will time every match. Visitors will also able to stop by the Rado booth to discover the brand’s latest collections including the tournament’s official watch, the Rado Hyperchrome Match Point.

The tennis-inspired timepiece is designed with a matt plasma high-tech monobloc case and bracelet, with polished middle links, and a tachymeter scale engraved around the polished bezel.

To emphasise its tennis theme the watch’s seconds counter is marked at 00, 15 and 40, while the minute counter at 30 aims to reflect the sport’s point-scoring system. Meanwhile, there is a net-like design on the hours counter.

Taking place from June 15 to 21, the Aegon Championship has been upgraded to ATP World Tour 500 status – the third highest tier of men’s tennis tournament after the four Grand Slam tournaments, and the ATP World Tour Masters 1,000.

The tournament welcomes many of the world’s top tennis players every year with Andy Murray, Rafael Nadal and Grigor Dimitrov confirmed for this years event.
