The store, which re-opened on Friday, October 9, features a large plasma TV screen, modern display cabinets and more space to display an increased selection of watch and jewellery brands.
Director Neil Hinds said the new brands the company has added, and is currently considering, reflect the different mix of customers that visit the store in out of town shopping centres.
He said: “We are already noticing that this is even more the case since the refit. Our customers in these stores want the current hot brands and we believe that we have created an environment in which these collections will sell very well.”
Hinds said that the store has been in discussions with a number of brands that are new to the company and it is expected that some of these will be appearing in the Trafford Centre store in the future.
The staff, including manager Davyd Hobin, have now returned to the new store after working at other branches in the region. F Hinds is the largest independent family jeweller in the UK with 117 stores.
