The new IWC Da Vinci watch collection tailored for ladies is launching exclusively at Harrods this month.

IWC Schaffhausen will display the new collection in the department store’s Fine Watch Room as part of a unique pop up exhibition.

The range, which has been made especially for Harrods, is the first time IWC has made a collection with women in mind. The Leonardo Da Vinci inspired range incorporated numerals and symmetry in its design, with the back of each model engraved with Da Vinci’s own ‘Flower of Life’ pattern.

Keeping with the hidden code theme of Da Vinci, visitors to the exhibition will be able to take pictures in a kaleidoscope photo booth which will reflect the geometric elements of the ‘Flower of Life’ back at them.

Franziska Gsell, CMO at IWC Schaffhausen, said: “With the new Da Vinci collection, we are consciously trying to anchor the brand in the minds of women, who account for a significant proportion of watch lovers.

“Here in Schaffhausen, the company has been manufacturing watches for women since the very beginning. In that sense, we are remaining true to our heritage.”
