The 13 April sale was led by The Perfect Palette, a trio of coloured diamonds offered in separate lots, which collectively achieved $8.37m (£6.08m).
Each of the stones included in the collection surpassed initial estimates, with the 2.17 carats fancy vivid purplish pink diamond ring selling for $3.51m (£2.55m), the 2.13 carats fancy vivid blue diamond ring realising $2.67m (£1.93m), and the 2.34 carats fancy vivid orange diamond ring selling for $2.19m (£1.59m).
Other notable sales included a pear brilliant-cut diamond ring of 38.04 carats for $3.03m (£2.2m) and an emerald-cut diamond of 14.5 carats that achieved double its low estimate at $1.41m (£1.02m).
The Christie’s jewels online sale continues through to 20 April, featuring a selection of designs by Bvlgari, Cartier, David Webb, Elsa Peretti for Tiffany and Co, and Van Cleef and Arpels.
