London-based jewellery company Tatty Devine has launched a new collection that reimagines David Bowie’s “iconic” moments in jewellery.

The Tatty Devine x David Bowie pieces are designed to pay homage to the artist by taking inspiration from his lyrics, costumes, makeup, and the man himself.

Featuring, brooches, earrings, necklaces, and a pendant, the collection is priced between £28 and £175.

The Life on Mars Brooch celebrates 50 years since the release of Bowie’s Hunky Dory album, with the “handwritten song title and cosmic mirror motifs” circling a ruby shimmer acrylic brooch to turn his lyrics into wearable art.

Other pieces, such as the Bowie Tigers Necklace, take inspiration from the musician’s costumes, with hand-inked etching on laser cut acrylic acting as representations of bodysuits designed by Kansai Yamamoto between January 1972 and 1973.

The Bowie Hands Necklace, available for £150, pays homage to Ziggy Stardust’s final appearance, with Tatty Devine recreating the “gold dust hands clutching over etched iridescent acrylic with space age glamour”.

Launched on 5 August, the collection also includes a range of Bolt jewellery pieces, Ziggy Heart and Suit necklaces, and a Space Oddity Necklace.
