British-based manufacturer, Deakin and Francis, has expanded its offering with a new collection of ladies’ jewellery.
The range features cuffs, stackable gemstone bangles, pendants and earrings and is split into four mini collections; Leora, Linear, Bonita and Valentina.
Leora is described as ‘contemporary and colourful’, with the name deriving from the Greek word for ‘compassion’ and ‘light’. It features a selection of colourful, semi-precious gemstones in different gold plated settings, from bangles to drop earrings.
Linear is simple and clean-cut while Bonita, meaning ‘pretty little thing’ in Spanish, has a more dainty and delicate feel.
Valentina is inspired by the season’s warm colour palette, with the use of ‘vivid and vibrant’ colours on sterling silver pendants.
James Deakin, creative director, said: “The design process for this collection was a breath of fresh air, it’s been a great experience to focus our attentions on something feminine.
“Inspiration for these designs came from all around and the end result offers simple, elegant
bracelets, stylish drop earrings, through to pretty gemstones and vibrant, colourful pendants – ultimately, beautiful pieces for ladies to treasure.”
Henry Deakin, managing director, added: “We have been designing and manufacturing now for over 230 years and cufflinks and gentlemen’s accessories continue to be our core offering.
“However, the Deakin & Francis customer base is both male and female, so to have an elegant ladies collection seemed like a natural fit – whether that’s an add-on to a cufflink purchase or simply a gentleman looking for a special gift.”
The new Deakin & Francis ladies collection is available to order now. With a starting trade price of £50 + VAT.
