Sustainable fine jewellery brand, Vrai, has announced the launch of its ‘Divine Solitaires’ collection which consist of three diamond shapes, each cut and polished from a 30 carat of rough diamond.
The first necklace from Divine Solitaires, the ‘Solitaire Cross’, was introduced in November 2021. The piece was auctioned for charity with proceeds benefiting Scholas Occurrentes, and it is now available for purchase with an 18k solid gold semi bezel or full bezel setting framing the 4.7ct cross.
Building on this piece, Vrai has unveiled two new pendants in the Divine series – the Solitaire Star and Solitaire Moon pendants. Each design features a single crystal of Vrai’s sustainably created diamond in their zero emission foundry, cut and polished to its shape.
The pieces are available in 18k solid gold or platinum bezel setting, and each pendant has an average carat weight of 1.7 carats.
A prototype of the Vrai Solitaire Cross was reportedly originally designed with celebrity stylists, Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn, for Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s wedding in the summer of 2021.
Mona Akhavi, Vrai chief executive officer, said: “The Divine Solitaires represent another milestone in Vrai’s iconic craftsmanship, innovating in cutting and polishing breathtaking shapes that are challenging to create.
“We are setting a new bar in diamond creation and design by polishing a cross, a star and a crescent moon from a single-crystal of VRAI created diamond.”
