A new diamond trading platform has been launched by the former managing director of Chalfen of London, Howard Levine.

Levine has opened Diamnet with a soft launch and over 44,000 loose diamonds on the list. There are a further 25,000 diamonds for approval.

The platform aims to get retailers connected with a wider number of dealers and manufacturers and is still in production, but orders can be made from the diamond list which is fully accessible.

Many innovations are being developed specially to make the Diamnet platform the best way to buy a diamond both online and in-store and best of all, everything is being developed from the viewpoint of a quality jewellery retailer.

Once the Diamnet website is up and running, retailers will be able to use advanced filters to find diamonds, find the right mount and gain access to manufacturers designs.
