Luxury packaging partner Talbots Group has been selected as a finalist in the world’s premier business awards for female business leaders, the Stevie Awards.

Talbots’ signature Couture Collection of packaging is a finalist in the “Best New Business Product or Service of the Year” category at the 14th annual awards, which will be held in New York, USA tonight (17 November) at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square.

Talbots will compete against five other international businesses to win either a gold, silver or bronze Stevie award at the New York ceremony, which will be live streamed.

The best-selling Couture Collection, which was selected as a finalist following more than a month of judging, is a recent industry innovation and exclusive to Talbots.

Julie Fowler-Drake, managing director of Talbots, said: “I am beyond thrilled with the news – we’re all still processing it and getting used to being international award finalists. As the third generation of my family to head up Talbots, I’m extremely proud to see where the business is today and to be driving forward the luxury packaging market, even more so as a female business leader. I know that my father and grandfather would be elated with our Stevie Awards achievement.”
