Scottish fine jeweller Romany Starrs’ has announced the opening of a new boutique in the heart of East Kilbride Village.

The shop, located at 27a Montgomery Street, will act as both store and workshop for the designer.

A feature of the new boutique is its in-house workshop, visible through stylish Crittall glass.

Romany Starrs original collections on display in the East Kilbride store include; Forth, Pyra, Stella and Shapes.

The store will also act as the launchpad for Romany Starrs’ debut bridal collection, crafted on site in the designer’s signature geometric style.

Romany said: “I’ve been looking for the perfect spot for the past five years. I wanted a boutique atmosphere in a place that feels right for the brand, and I’ve finally found it in East Kilbride Village. There aren’t many Scottish fine jewellers, especially ones who design, handcraft, and set their own stones. I’m proud to be doing that here in Scotland. I want people to think of me when they’re looking for something exceptional and well crafted.

“I want people to remember the boutique just as much as the jewellery and the experience they have here. I want people to feel looked after, and to just enjoy being in the space, with a glass of champagne or a coffee in hand. Because everything is made here, it builds trust with the customer. They love seeing how it’s done – the tools, the process. It’s a little bit of theatre.”
