Mikimoto has launched a new Snake brooch in celebration of the forthcoming Lunar New Year.
Drawing inspiration from traditional Chinese beliefs, the brooch blends cultural symbolising with contemporary designs.

Set in 18K yellow gold, the snake, which features a little spinel eye, slithers along the platinum branch decorated with an Akoya cultured pearl and green garnets.

The brooch will be available to buy in store from Mikimoto, 179 New Bond Street or Harrods, Fine Jewellery Room starting from the end of January.

Mikimoto said: “According to the Chinese zodiac, 2025 is the Year of the Wood Snake. The snake embodies a blend of charm and mystery, and represents transformation and wisdom. Combined with the Wood element, the serpent’s characteristics will help in the cultivation of long-term goals and the fulfilment of personal targets in the new year.”
