Daniel Wellington launches first regional store outside London
The new 430 sq ft store is open at St David’s Cardiff as it stocks the brand’s classic timepieces

Independent financial consulting company St David’s Partnership has launched Daniel Wellington’s first standalone UK store outside of London.
The new 430 sq ft store in located at St David’s, Cardiff and it offers an assortment of the brand’s classic accessories including classic cuffs and interchangeable watch straps in NATO, mesh and leather in addition to signature watches for men and women.
St David’s Partnership, which is a joint venture between Landsec and Intu, was advised by JLL and Cushman and Wakefield while Stephen Kane and Company represented Daniel Wellington.
The launch of the regional icon store follows the opening of international fashion brand Stradivarius in its first Welsh store earlier this year.
Colin Flinn, regional managing director – west at Intu, said: “The arrival of Daniel Wellington is a clear signal that St David’s is one of the UK’s premium retail destinations. This international brand joining St David’s follows the success of other flagship stores outside of London for retailers such as Victoria’s Secret and Stradivarius.
