The company, which deals with many independent retailers under the Gold Buying Centre banner, won the Family Business award.
Current proprietor, Miles, is the seventh generation of jewellers in his family, which traces its history in the trade back to 1741. As well as the Gold Buying Centre business, the company operates five retail outlets in the south west.
“Our experience as retail jewellers enables us to fully understand our customers’ needs and helps them to maximise the potential of their gold buying business,” said Miles.
“We are delighted to have won this award as recognition for the efforts we have made to develop the Gold Buying Centre brand.”
