HRH Princess Michael of Kent was in attendance at the annual awards, organised by the Goldsmiths’ Design and Craft Council.
In addition to the College Trophy, which UCA has won every year but two since its introduction 22 years ago, students from its Silversmithing, Goldsmithing and Jewellery course took home four awards.
Subject leader Robert Birch remarked: “We are all delighted to win the College Trophy for the 20th year and keep UCA’s enviable record going.
“This year’s results were personally very gratifying because the course increased the number of individual prizes it won and achieved twice as many points as the second-placed university.
“These awards are a fantastic opportunity for our students to receive recognition at the highest level, but even those who did not win a prize will have gained a great deal from being showcased in the Council’s highly prestigious exhibition.”
