Flying Squad detectives investigating a smash-and-grab robbery at the Dorchester Hotel on Thursday, 10 July have charged two people.

A group of six smashed their way through the front door and stole watches and jewellery before fleeing on mopeds, according to police.

Brothers Reed Roberts, 23 and Skye Roberts, 19, both of Cubitt Street, are charged with one count of robbery and one count of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug.

They appeared at Wimbledon Magistrate’s Court and were remanded in custody.

Three others arrested at an address in the Kings Cross area in connection with the investigation – two men, aged 66 and 27, and a woman aged 46 – have been bailed.

The investigation continues and detectives continue to appeal for any witnesses or anyone information to call the Flying Squad via 101 or Crimestoppers anonymous on 0800 555 111.
