Guess Watches launches charity timepiece

Guess Watches has announced its 2014 special edition watch that will help raise funds for two South Korean charities, under its Faces to Watch – Time to Give campaign.

This year, Guess Watches has announced that the proceeds from the 2014 special edition watch will be donated to two south Korean charities – the Putting Wings on Disabled Children Project and the Leftovers Love Sharing Community.

The watch proceeds distributed to the Putting Wings on Disabled Children Project will directly aid in providing both assistive and mobility devices for disabled children. The devices will be tailored specifically to each child’s needs with an ultimate goal of improving their daily standard of living.

The proceeds raised for the Leftovers Love Sharing Community will assist in the support of educational, vocational and recreational programmes with a focus on helping children reach their full potential.

Faces to Watch – Time to Give was established by Guess Watched in 2006 with a goal to “better the health, welfare and educational needs of children around the globe.”

Since its inception, Guess Watches and its worldwide partners have raised more than $5.5m (£3.2m) to support 11 charities around the world.

Guess Watches will also be partnering with Happybean, the first online giving portal in South Korea, to further donation efforts.
