Jewellery owned by the late best-selling author Jackie Collins is set to be sold at auction later this year.
The collection of jewels will include a 6.04-carat diamond and platinum ring estimated at $100,000 (£80,000)-$150,000 (£120,000); an Art Deco diamond, emerald, stone and platinum necklace at $40,000 (£32,000)-$50,000 (£40,000); and signed pieces by Cartier and Nardi among others.
Meanwhile, watches by Patek Philippe, Harry Winston, Chanel and Chopard will also be auctioned.
The jewellery is part of the $3m (£2.4m) 1,000-lot estate that is being auctioned at the Jackie Collins: A Life in Chapters sale at Bonhams Los Angeles in May.
The auction house described Collins’ collection of jewellery as “bold, strong and colourful”.

The British-born star published her first novel, The World is Full of Married Men, in 1968, marking the start of a 47-year writing career. The book was a bestseller, as were her next 31 novels which together sold more than 500 million copies in 40 countries worldwide.
