High jewellery brand Dior has unveiled its newest collection entitled “Les Jardins de la Couture” or the gardens of couture in English.
The collection is based on the theme of gardens “from the roses of Granville to the bewitching femmes-fleurs of the New Look”.
Designer Christian Dior stated that the gardens were something close to his heart.
In each collection, the founding-couturier constantly drew inspiration from nature and its “bountiful fertility”.
Building on the previous collections, this collection is told through 170 pieces.
The pieces include a number of gemstones including brilliant and pear cut emeralds and diamonds and freshwater pearls.
