Sheffield Assay Office has appointed Sara Hale as its new head of commercial operations, joining the organisation on 1 December to lead its commercial strategy across hallmarking and analytical services.
Hale brings more than 20 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical sector, where she has held senior roles focused on commercial planning, cross-functional team leadership and service development in regulated environments. She is known for her collaborative approach and for aligning commercial activity with wider organisational aims.
In her new position, Hale will support the strategic development of the office’s commercial work. This includes improving service delivery, identifying opportunities for sustainable growth and working with internal teams and external partners to guide long-term commercial planning.
