Mouawad has released the third chapter of its Master Collection, introducing two high-jewellery suites inspired by the Great Wall of China and the Taj Mahal.

The chapter, titled Sun on the Seven Wonders, continues the series’ focus on interpreting historic landmarks.

The Great Wall of China suite features a yellow diamond necklace with a 42.47-carat centre stone and a bracelet set with a 28.56-carat yellow diamond.

Both pieces are crafted in 18-karat yellow gold and finished with white diamond detailing.

According to Mouawad, the design reflects the structure’s “longevity and symbolic importance”.

Meanwhile, the Taj Mahal suite includes a necklace centred around a 71.13-carat yellow diamond, along with a 20.06-carat yellow diamond bracelet.

The necklace is designed to convert into a brooch and is set with white diamonds. Mouawad said the suite takes influence from the monument’s associations with “legacy and commemoration”.

Mouawad, established in 1890, is a family-owned jewellery house specialising in high-jewellery and bespoke pieces. The brand’s London boutique is located at the Peninsula Hotel in Belgravia, London.
