Brian Duffy, chief executive and foundation chair of the Watches of Switzerland Group, has been recognised with the King’s Trust Individual Impact Award for his contribution to the charity’s work with young people.

The award, presented at the King’s Trust Partnership Awards, acknowledges Duffy’s personal involvement in the organisation’s programmes and the role he has played in expanding the retailer’s support for the charity over more than a decade.

The company has contributed over £2.5m to the King’s Trust since 2013.

Duffy, who grew up in Glasgow and previously held senior roles at Sara Lee Courtaulds and Polo Ralph Lauren, has supported a series of sponsorship and brand-engagement initiatives linked to the charity.

These include headline sponsorship of the 2025 Change a Girl’s Life campaign, support for the Palace to Palaces fundraising event, and sponsorship of the Global Young Achiever Award at the King’s Trust Awards.

The group has also provided trophies for the awards for more than 10 years and is a lead funder of the Enterprise Challenge, which supports education programmes in the UK and the US.

Duffy has additionally helped raise more than £300,000 through staff fundraising activities.

The King’s Trust said: “Duffy’s involvement had helped widen access to its programmes, particularly for young people who face barriers to education, training and employment.”
