Horsham based Wakefields Jewellers is expanding into the neighbouring property on West Street, as part of plans to improve its showroom environment whilst creating additional space to exhibit its growing collections of jewellery and watch brands.
Refurbishment work has begun and will continue throughout the coming months, with the completed expansion expected to be completed in 2027/2028. Wakefield Jewellers will remain open during this time, for customers to continue to visit.
The family run jeweller has said the expansion is a reflection of the company’s “continued investment in Horsham’s high street and its commitment to the future of retail”. Today, the business serves clients across Sussex and beyond.
Sibling directors Melanie and Dominic Wakefield said: “This is a very exciting moment for us as a business and as a family. Horsham has always been our home, and we are incredibly proud to be creating an even more inspiring environment for our clients to enjoy at Wakefields. While the works are underway, it will very much remain business as usual, and we look forward to sharing this next chapter with our customers over the coming years.”
Further updates and behind-the-scenes progress will be shared on social media throughout the refurbishment as Wakefields Jewellers looks ahead to opening its expanded showroom in 2027/2028.
