T.H. Baker has introduced a bridal jewellery hire service, Something Borrowed, for customers spending over £300 at the retailer’s wedding bars in selected UK stores.
The service allows eligible customers to hire up to three items from a curated collection of necklaces, earrings, and bracelets for a 10-day period.
While the hire is complimentary for those meeting the spending threshold, clients have the option to purchase the pieces following the loan period.
Currently, the service is based at T.H. Baker’s Merry Hill and Warrington branches, though it can be accessed at other locations by appointment.
The initiative is designed to provide coordinated jewellery sets for weddings without the requirement for an upfront purchase.
The company, which operates a network of jewellery shops across the West Midlands and Northwest, stated the service is intended to simplify the process of matching accessories with wedding rings. The collection includes various classic designs and matching sets.
T.H. Baker said: “Something borrowed has always been a symbol of love, luck and happiness. We’re proud to give this tradition a modern twist by offering bridal jewellery available to hire that feels personal and effortless.
“Finding the right bridal jewellery can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. Our collection includes classic designs and coordinated sets that add the final touch to a look. Whether it is a delicate necklace or elegant earrings, customers have the freedom to choose pieces that feel completely right for them.”
