Panerai has announced the launch of a new pop-up at the Harrods Menswear Department over the Christmas period.

The Florentine luxury watchmaker will showcase its latest collection, the Panerai Luna Rossa, at the department store. 

It will be the first time this collection is showcased in the UK.

The new collection was developed by Panerai creative director Alvaro Maggini, and the pop-up design takes its design influence from annual yachting event, America’s Cup. 

The brand said: “Clients are invited to admire a scale-model of the Luna Rossa, crashing through the waves as it races for the finish line. 

“Recycled sailcloth lines the walls evoking the high technical rigor of the boat and the audacious spirit of Luna Rossa team.”

The latest timepieces continue to highlight the brand as the official sponsor of the challenger team Luna Rossa in the 36th America’s Cup.

The pieces “mirror the team’s bold character” as well as signature technical features, such as a carbon fibre case and Luna Rossa sailcloth fragments.

The Panerai pop-up is running from 25th November to 24th December.
